How it started
Be Still Events and Conferencing was born from a deeply personal experience. During a season of significant life changes, the two founders, Marcia and Mmabatho, found themselves regularly sharing their challenges, encouraging one another, and drawing strength from their conversations. At the end of one such conversation, they reflected on how comforting it was to have someone who would listen without judgment and offer genuine support.
It was then that Mmabatho made a profound observation:
“Marcia, do you know there are women out there who don’t have this privilege, someone they can confide in and who encourages them like a sister?”
That simple yet powerful realization became the foundation of Be Still Events and Conferencing.
